Mineral Spa Crystals (Therapeutic Bath Salts)

Naturally rich in minerals, sea salts have been used for centuries to aid in healing, relaxing and soothing aching muscles and for general enjoyment. Our bath salts are a blend of ancient sea salts and Epsom salts. Many bath salts are diluted with over-processed and cheap fillers (e.g. sodium chloride - table salt).

CAERAN guarantees that we use pure Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate).

CAERAN Therapeutic salts are 100% water soluble and hot tub safe. They can be used in the bathtub for total body immersion or in footbaths to soothe tired, aching feet.

Fragrances are composed of either natural fragrance oils OR 100% Pure Therapeutic Essential Oils. A very small amount of color is added to distinguish each blend.

INGREDIENTS: Pure Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate, mineral ancient sea salt, essential oil OR fragrance oil (see scent label), minimal food colour to distinguish each fragrance blend.

Why Mineral Bath Salts?

The very high concentration of minerals in the salts, tiny quantities of which enter the body through the pores, have a natural therapeutic action on the skin and benefit the body as a whole. Their effect on the external body is to boost the skin's excretory function by dissolving the dehydrated dead cells which accumulate on the surface. This speeds up the elimination of the body's waste and has a smoothing and refining effect on the skin.

Of the 28 naturally occurring minerals in the salts, three are particularly valuable for our internal health: potassium, which regulates the fluid balance within our bodies and the circulation of blood and lymph; magnesium, our body's main 'nerve food'; and bromide, which has a calming and restorative effect on the system. Because these substances are part of the body's own make-up, they are immediately 'recognized', absorbed, and put to use.

Taking regular mineral salt soaks can help to correct all sorts of imbalances within the body; encourages gentle detoxification, reduces fluid retention in the tissues, and is an effectual antidote to the potential damage of stress, which may help strengthen our resistance to disease.
